S1:E4 – BE THE LIGHT (EVEN IF IT’S A GLOW STICK): CARLA AND DELIA REVIEW – THE TAO OF DATING

Namaste. Your hosts the non-delicate daisies, Carla and Delia chop it up about the past week: Delia dives into her second date with breakfast guy, highlighting the point where things crashed and burned, Carla shares a glowing review Land Your Man received on iTunes (compliments of Delia’s gal pal Courtney). The ladies take a deep breath and align themselves with this week’s book, “The Tao of Dating: The Smart Woman’s Guide to Being Absolutely Irresistible” by Ali Binazir MD.

Delia talks about something even more intimate than butt sex and Carla shares a story about the a rerun fella who perpetually has his fireplace lit. From there we discover what it takes to go from mostly irresistible to ABSOLUTELY irresistible. Carla clarifies “tao” not “dow” and we take stock of her portfolio of cats and pizza.

Moving through warrior one, Carla gets to the meat of the matter. The balance in the relationship, the yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) and that if you only exercise the author’s chief tenant: be the light, you’ll be well on your way. Once we embrace our own wholeness we begin to attract our mirror. Delia is almost on board until the author discusses what not to do with a potential suitor. (No high fives?! No cursing?! The fuck…)

The girls talk about the patience it takes to tell your unique love story. Carla bristles at the notion of “making” a man fall in love with anyone or anything and Delia changes into something a little more comfortable. (A dress made of bacon gentlemen?) We learn where to meet and where not to meet eligible bachelors. You’ll find Carla and Delia at a local happy hour, being the light. Cue the deep house/trance/dubstep.
