S1:E5 – AND THE BITCHES HAVE IT: CARLA AND DELIA REVIEW – WHY MEN LOVE BITCHES

The ladies are back! Carla and Delia discuss Delia’s dating tally (she’s up to 5ish) and considering purchasing jock jams to get pumped for dating! Carla discusses a gentleman caller whom she’s been messaging and the high stakes game of complimentary musical tastes. The girls then plan out their breath to dive into this week’s book, “Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl- A Woman’s Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship” by Sherry Argov.

Carla and Delia discover the importance of defining terms, what a ‘bitch’ truly is and why we’re leaning into the moniker. Why men love confident, self-possessed, independent women wouldn’t sell as many copies. Bitches be branding.

The ladies discuss the book’s chapters but also the 100 Attraction Principles. We discover that Carla is vocal in the boudoir, which is in line with her authentic self. (Attraction Principle #28) While Delia is guilty of the cardinal sin of giving too much up of herself. (Attraction Principle #43 and 44 respectively) Carla and Delia touch on exterior validation, the importance of buying your own damn flowers, being alone (Yes, completely alone so please bring the chips and salsa already!) and why unavailability is such a turn on.

Carla and Delia discuss the lost art of banter and why it is so important, the ‘nice’ debate, the importance of financial stability (Attraction Principle #82) and the need to have a plan for a date (Attraction Principle #91). Delia wonders out loud why she has never been one of the thousands interviewed for a relationship book and Carla ponders if dudes are just sitting at home waiting for us to call. Maybe, because these bitches have their own fabulous life! (flags down waitress to order guac… totally alone.)
